Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Kiruna Airport to Jukkasjärvi Icehotel
- Dogsled from airport to Jukkasjärvi Icehotel. Along the route, we will stop to have a first coffee break, offering the unique Swedish way of making boiled coffee over open fire. Once onsite, we will visit the world famous Icehotel, and thereafter enjoy our exclusive use of the 200 years old “Cultural Sauna” in Jukkasjärvi village. We are served drinks and local snacks by the fireplace to make the experience perfect. Today’s dinner is in the Icehotel restaurant, where you will be treated to a gourmet Ice Meny with lots of local specialities.

Day 2: Kiruna - Låktatjåkka
- Snowmobile along Torne River and across almost 60 km of Torneträsk, the 6th largest lake in Sweden. The drive takes us between the Swedish mountains on both sides of us, until we turn uphill to reach the highest bar in Sweden. Along the way, we pass the birth place of Börje Salming, the Swedish icehockey leged. Our lunch is cooked by your guides over open fire.

Day 3: Låkktatjåkka – Kilpisjärvi
- A ride through the mountain plains of the Lap lander country, where plenty of reindeer are strolling. Coffe breaks as well as lunch is enjoyed sitting on reindeer hides in the snow. While the sauna is electric, It brings you into the right mood for the delicious dinner in this genuine lodge with its incredible ambiance.

- Rustic but modern and comfortable, the Tundrea chalets at Kilpisjärvi offer a relaxed atmosphere while gazing at the spring-winter landscape in this village at the extreme north of Sweden.
Day 4: Kilpisjärvi - Arctic ocean and back
- Passing the northern-most point in Sweden, circumventing the 3-nation mark, and reaching the Arctic Ocean in Norway before going back to Kilpisjärvi is today’s agenda.

- Remaining in the Tundrea chalets, we get to enjoy the sauna world again, followed by yet another outstanding laplander meal. After having some beer to round the evening off, we tuck in to prepare for tomorrow’s
Day 5: Kilpisjärvi - Galdotieva
- We ride through rich, dense fo rest and along lakes and creeks to cross the border to Finland. We look out for wild animals, before reaching Galdotieva and enjoying the well deserved sauna.

- Rustic, simple and genuine but very comfortable log cabins await us in Galdotieva. Of course we will use the sauna, before going for our local dinner.
Day 6: Galdotieva - Muonio
- Being in the lowlands of the Arctic region, we get a taste of the unlimited forestal richness of the region. We drive on marked as well as unmarked trails, while looking out for wildlife around us.

Day 7: Muonio – Lannavaara
- Forest and frozen swamps, covered by 1.5 m of snow, will make our ride comfortable and varied. Being o ff the mountainious area, we are protected from the elements of the weather, and will enjoy our coffee breaks in various places arlong our route. We also use the time to play with out snowmobiles on the rivers and lakes we are traveling on.

- Lannavaara Lodge is an incredibly high quality hotel in the remote village of Lannavaara. In more touristic destinations, it would be called a “resort”. Here we are just happy and proud to have such nice accommodation in such remote locations.
Day 8: Lannavaara - Kiruna; departure
- This morning we have to be very expedient, so we manage to follow the century old Tobacco Trail used by the Laplanders to transport tobacco and other goods for several hundred years. This narrow trail through the spooky woods is a great final confirmation of the snowmobile driving skills you have acquired over the past week. We reach the airport just in time for your return flight, literally stepping off the snowmobile and into the departure hall of the airport.
